I have heard that if you convert from a ZS carb to SU on late model B's you should also put in a new distributor. True? And what type??
Thanks,
Kevin
PS. my car is getting oh, so close to seeing the road again. A big thank you to MGE member John, JHarden73, for offering to come over to my house tomorrow and help me tune things up.

You can send your present distributer to Jeff Schlemer and he will rebuild it and set the timing curve to your engine's needs. RAY

The cost of a rebuild will not only be less than a new distributor, but will also be custom curved to your exact engine configuration. Highly recommended.

x3. Jeff has you give him all the details, including how you plan to drive the car, and gives you back a customized distributor.

Why not. The SU's have been Hap-erized. Eventually you will be able to build an entire car by sending parts off the MGE members. :)-D
