Hi all

I have a new hood for my B from Moss. I does not seem to fit correctly. It turns down too sharply at the outside edge of the nose. The left and right outside tips turn noticeably down about one inch before the front edge of the hood, therefore ending up being below the tips of the fenders. Also, on the drivers side, the hood is level with the fender for most of the way towards the front, but becomes noticeably higher as it gets within about a foot of the front. Also, the gap between the hood and the fender is inconsistant between the two sides.

Do new parts like these typically need massaging to fit correctly?

Also, I have ordered the installation bits for a new grill. How are the grill buffer pads installed?

TIA

I'd send that one back. a new body panel might take a bit of massaging but that is too much
