If anyone's having distributor problems, you might want to check this out.
Victoria British has a new Lucas 45D for $119.95, seems like a reasonable price to me.

If I were in the market for a dizzy, I would forget about the new stuff. It has to be sent out for a proper recurve anyways or you are taking a wild chance at the advance curve having any relation to your engine's needs .
Buy a cheap core and send it out to have it re-built. Chances are you will have a better product for less money.

I toatally agree. i did try one of those and ended up returning it and got a rebuilt lucas off ebay and it worked perect. You can also contact Jeff a advanced distributors he is wonderful to work with and he will set the distributor up for your engine if has any mods or stock..
