Just got a set of new piston bolts from Moss Motors for a 73 MGB (The bolts that hold the piston arms to the big end caps). On the head of each bolt there is a small offset raised circular mark. I am unsure if this mark needs face in towards the piston arm or away, or if it is unimportant. Has anyone out there used these new bolts?

i think they need to be positioned so that the bolt doesn't hit the camshaft.

called rod bolts, not "piston bolts" FWIW

and the "piston arms" are connecting rods.
