Briefly, 67 Rdstr Pos to Neg, Alternator, Schlemerized with Pertronix, Limey's fuse box (ignition relay), a new
cloth harness (Thanks Chris!) and Nisonger tach rewired for electronic ignition. Just got it all installed and it fired
right up. It was a great feeling until I turned off the ignition switch and she just kept running. Now I have researched
here and in Rick A's book and my question is should I put a diode in the brown/yellow-white line to the ignition light or put a ballast resistor in the white line to the coil? Thanks in advance for any info. I could not have done this project without this site!!!

Certainly does not need a ballast resistor.
Did you make the polarity conversion to the voltage regulator?

The diode is just a bodge some people do to later cars to slove a factory wiring issue. Your car doesn't need anything like that. Unfortunately, somewhere you got something wrong, it sounds as the the brown circuit could be feeding the white circuit. Check your connections at the fuse box and on the ignition switch.

I'm with Mike, sounds like the brown and white wires are crossed up at the fuse box.
