My father has a 1994 Olds 98, 130,000 miles. It just started this problem. While driving along, it just dies, no electric power at all, no windows, locks etc. After a few minutes it starts runs fine. Just before dying, it starts missing badly, then seconds later it dies. Olds dealer has hooked to the computer, and $130 later, could not find any problems. Sounds like something getting hot then resetting after cooling for a few minutes. Has anyone else experienced this?

A bad regulator in my dodge caused me a similar headache.

95% of all electrical problems are ground related!! I would check for a loose ground or a bad engine to body ground!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Check and clean any ground connections you find in the trunk. They are usually overlooked and many times the root of divability and electrical proplems in computer controlled GM cars.
