now I'm a official B owner

took the 74B out for a drive and ended up on the side of the road having to call for assistance. Luckly I was only out of gas, recently replaced the sending unit and guess it's still not adjusted correctly. Learned three things don't let her get below 1/4 tank, don't call the wife for roadside assistance as she seemed to be enjoying it a little to much, and have faith as 3 people stopped to ask if I needed help and two told me their B stories.

Reminds me of my brother and his experience with Harleys, he always said you weren't a true harley rider unless you had been a harley pusher at some time.

Did any fine women stop and offer to help? That could change the wife's attitude (if you told her)!

I would not want to say anything like that to the "Harley" riders around here, gulp!! Although I have felt like saying "Get a Triumph"!

the only lady that stopped was uh let's say not fine.....

my brother is a real BA harley rider as are a lot of his friends.....they laugh when they talk of the number of breakdowns they have had.....much like us. Most of them are good folks and enjoy the laugh this brings and will never bother you as long as them or their friends aren't threatened. If their on your side it's all the way and if not the same....
