I saw a small puddle - not a spot - of 20w/50 and on the undercarriage, The motor oil level was good, while the gearbox oil level was down at "low". I heard no funny noises and the gearbox functioned as normal as I drove the 2 miles home. I will gunk and baby powder the motor/gearbox and undercarriage to try to find the leak. I'm thinking - worst case scenerio - rear oil seal or the front gearbox seal. The side covers look clean.
The clutch/slave as well as boots/hoses were all replaced recently. The rear crossmember modification will be done if I get to that point.
If I were to pull the motor/gearbox, and I'm using Moss as my reference, what parts am I missing?

I just did the rear output shaft on my gear box. Look around to see if you have an oil stream anywhere. How are the rear tranny mounts? If your gearbox is leaking there, they will eat up your tranny mounts.

Sorry, the link doesn't work.
120-820 OIL SEAL, crank, rear
462-120 BUSHING, reverse rear
282-330 BUFFER
280-055 BUSH (small ends face each other)
413-050 MOUNT, transmission
121-120 OIL SEAL, rear
296-550 GASKET SET, transmission
120-300 OIL SEAL, front cover
I know this is kind of dodging the question, but honestly, I have never had any luck ordering parts before I do a project. I always wait to get parts once I have everything apart, as usually you under-order the parts you need (meaning you get into something and find you need more than you ordered), which will cost you a lot in shipping any more and it will take just as much time to get 1 part shipped to you as it would for all of those parts if you order after you get it apart. I only did the rear seal and bushings in my transmission, so I am not sure about the front end/rear end of engine parts or the reverse gear bushings.

Hurst, I'm with you on that. I know there will be some things I have to do while I'm in there and that is my focus right now. If I need more I will order then.
One thing I would think about replacing is the rear engine adaptor plate gasket, part number 297-500 and 297-480. I have never had this apart on my B, but on a tractor I have, I didn't replace this when I split it to put in a new clutch and it causes a leak around the rear of the oil pan. It isn't that much more money and not much more disassembly, so it would be a good idea.
