I know,,, the millionth time
but could sombody tell me in laymens terms where i should place jack stands to for the front of the car
im fine for the rear,,,, but cant decide where to place for the front
it will be on the stands till late March/early April
i will be removing the wheels for blasting and painting soon as i get the car up

Several places will work and you are going to get more than a few suggestions, but I would place them under the large box section "frame members" just before they begin to curve up into the engine compartment. Put them very slightly behind the beginning of the curve.
The rear ones should be put below the front spring perches or alternatively under the axle house just inboard of the springs.
Use strong, wide based stands.
