I don't know where this belongs, here or Off Topic, but the ad does mention MG. Kind of a nice jacket for those cool Autumn days driving your B.

Yeah that is nice...be good for the couple of days of fall we have here....but I am cheap and 189.00 for a jacket that does not make me grow hair on my head seems a bit steep.

I bet it would be good for you Blokes up North though:)-D

There was a time when I did buy from Orvis and their prices, while a bit high,
were not over the top. Now however they have lost me as a customer. We did go
to their main store in Manchester VT a number of times and with what they put
in the new building (construction costs)I guess they have to recapture that money
from someone. But that someone will not be me.
I just would be curious to see where it that jacket was made.

Oh my, at that price, I'll take three! ...not.
It's almost outrageous. I'm sure there's a market for them somewhere though I'm sure, certainly not here.

Good one Gary! Come'on guys - I paid more than that for my driving gloves.

I kinda like the Summer Flight Jacket at $259 - but the Roadster Driving Jacket did mention "MG" and "roadster" in the same sentence and - you're right - it does get a mite chilly in these parts, just before it snows.
Well Robert, Guess we will be the best dressed this fall.

It's interesting to see the responses from the U.S. posters vs the Canadian posters on this. Up here in the Great White North, I guess we are used to paying more for clothing, etc., so the price did not really shock me that much.

I'll order enough for our American friends....

I've already got a nice A-2 flight jacket with plenty Pockets, so I don't guess I need one of those. I think it interesting tho that their marketing singled out LBCs as an appropriate image to fix on.

Orvis?

Orvis is a very old school Fly Fishing gear maker and provider located in Manchester, VT. I think like LL Bean now they are focusing more on clothes.

Not sure the jacket is really windproof like it needs to be for roadsters. I'll stay with my classic brown leather jacket from LL Bean. It will last 20 years.

Emmons Coachworks has a great light jacket for half the price and they'll put your LBC logo on it. http://www.emmonscoachworks.com/ecommerce/catalogset_clothing.html
