I went into the garage to start laying up a hood this evening to find I had a helper.

Strange as it seems, after we got her back onher way, this was the smootherst and cleanest project I've done since I took over the business.

The Big Guy works in strange ways. Guess finally getting back to church last week is paying off.

That's an Axis fawn isn't it? It must be an orphan, what are you going to do with it?

BURP, she was delicious..... JK!!!

We finally got her out of the garage and on her way back into the woods. I'm not much of a wilderness guy. All I knew was it was a baby deer and the kids (4 & 6) weren't allowed to touch it.

We had to lift the cart from over her, she took off to the back of the garage. So we had to roll the B out a ways to hurd her out.

Hopefully, mama was still somewhere near! That one appears to be to small to survive alone yet.

You were smart to keep the kids away. The most injuries caused by animals each year are from deer. It is amazing how sharp and quick those front hooves are.

I was thinking abotu those nasty ticks and Lyme's disease. YUCK!

Aww, she's just a baby!

And we don't want to talk about ticks and Lyme disease. I still have a bump and an itchy spot from where my dot dug a tick out of me 2 - 2 1/2 months ago.

Does have their fawns around house places alot because they know there fawns will be safer there. They arent as many predators.
