MGB: OT what a relief!

Heard this slow clunk/grind when slowing down in my regular car. Thought it could be front wheel bearing or even tranny and sounded VERY expensive. Took it in this morning and it was a rock that had flipped up and was sitting in the notch of the brake caliper where the rotor goes through. Been hearing this the entire weekend. No charge! Feel like I have an extra $500 to blow on the B now.

Make sure before you splurge on the MG that you give a "I'm Sorry" gift to your regular drive for the experience.

It so seldom seems to turn out to be something simple and inexpensive to fix.

Like the look of the black air dam and the wire wheels on you RB car!

I would take the better half out to dinner, saying how much you appreciate her-that way you have a clear path to do something for the lbc without any guilty feelings. Its like you found money.

I had the same thing happen to me once on my '64 back in England - it sure does SOUND expensive, and is a huge relief to find it is a free fix!
