Anybody have the Pacesetter exhaust system on their car? How do you like it? Was there any problem mounting the twin exhaust tipped section?

Mine did take a little heat and bending to make it line up properly (it was off by about 2-3 inches), but it wasn't too bad. Expect to have a friend handy for the install. I love the looks and most of all, the sound of it, but I believe you'll find that a lot of people on this board aren't fond of it. I'm of the mindset that this is my fun car, and it should be a little loud...at the price I paid, you can't go wrong.

I have it as well--header to tips--on a '69 B GT. I had to cut the pipe and re-weld it right in front of the resonator (front mufler) because it didn't line up. Also, right near the frame rail at the front the pipe is real close. Actually, the back wasn't a problem--I bought a generic muffler hanger and modified it to attach to the hanger on the rear muffler.

As to the sound, it's loud when I go WOT, but it also reminds me of the cars racing at Sebring (I grew up in Sebring). On my car it has a real low, mellow rumble at 2500 rpm. At 55 mph it is the most quiet and get louder as I get over 65.

Others like the big bore and/or Monza. I don't have any experience with those.
