Has anyone put a pacesetter header on thier Midget (1500) and if so how hard was it? Did you hookup to your stock exhaust? I am looking into buying one.

Thanks

Larry

I put some on a couple of years ago, easy to put on. Hooked it up to the stock exhaust but had to use a reducer from the header to the exhaust pipe.
when I ordered the header I had the ceramic coating applied and it has held up well.

Hi Doug

Did you have to cut the pipe on your exhaust to hook it up or does it hookup to were the front and middle pipes bolt together just under the tranny?

Thanks

Are you having any issues with the nuts loosening up on the head?

No, I went out and checked and they're not loose

I also went with the Pace Setter header on my 79 Midget, as well as switching out for a Weber carb. It was money well spent, no problems on either.
