Parking passes (things you would hang from your mirror)

Anyone have any suggestions on how to secure a parking placard, handicap placard in a "B" when you are using a tonneau?

I've never found a good way to secure a placard against theft. Even windscreen stickers get scraped off by would-be thieves. All I can suggest is to take your chances. You could tape it to the windscreen with packing tape, but I don't think it would be legal to drive with it that way. If you install an alarm with a spacial sensor then the alarm would go off if anyone reached in there, but with the tonneau up I'm not sure if you could rig it to work properly. Slide it between the windscreen and the stabilizing bar...try to lock the tab on the bar. You could carry some adhesive tape to temporarily secure it. Easy for you to remove...keeps it from blowing away in the wind.

You could also hang it from the swivel post of the sun visor...now one sez it has to be in the middle of the car.

Edit - regarding theft...your softtop is not a deterrent against theft, even with the doors locked (I never lock mine as I don't want the top sliced open)
