Any projects underway or coming up?

As soon as I get the car from hell done I have another MGC roadster I am doing along with a MGBGTV8 (factory press car) and then a MGC roadster, then two more roadsters. The V8 belongs to a friend and I have been helping him with it. That ought to keep me busy till I die.

Hey Tom,

I have got projects coming out my Ying Yang! :)

Just fininshed rebuilding a 68 B engine with a non Smog head for the red 70 B, got it primed with oil pressure and oil getting to the rockers. Almost done the engine bay.... wll put it in the car next Saturday.

Then it's on to the front suspension on the C...pending a succesful implant on the B..Fingers crossed!

Next will be tear down the old engine I pulled out and check for wear and clearances on Crank etc.

Then the C will be block sanded and painted, still have to remove some Chrome and lamps off of it.

The best part is my back is screwed up along with a pinched Sciatic nerve...can't do anything like standing still or sitting for more than 10 minutes. So I figure this is good therapy:D

Cheers
Paul

Paul, good luck and a bad back can be a pain in the ass? You are keeping busy and that is good.

The car from hell, will be taking her out for another drive this weekend. Fit the grille and then the trim around the f/r glass as I mentioned before. Redo the rear seat, make the hatch cover fit my wide spare tire. After the punch list and break in miles are over I will hook up the A/C and run the ventilation hoses in the passenger comp. If all that works I will drive it. If not I will burn it.

Also suppose to do a MGA MK2 interior starting next week, build a supercharged MGB with FI. and have a couple of other MGB's to restore.

With two part time jobs (one is MG's) I really dont have time for all this stuff. My garden shed needs to be enlarged to fit a few more cars.

Ops almost forgot I am in the middle of restoring a MGA 1600 right now too.

Usually only watch TV on Mon evening when Top Gear is on.

Thanks Ron,

It went out in late August of last year then the Sciatic pain started down my left leg in late Oct. just after I was able to put my socks on by myself. It just got worse...and I got more and more crabby. Finally my wife talked me into going to a Doc. on Feb.22 now I'm off work and the Cat scan showed three disks outta wack in particular L4/5 has gone inwards rather than out which my Physio person says happens about 10% of the time 90% out the rear.... So I don't know whatg the hell that entails.

I do get full Salary for six months then long term which I don't want to happen.

To tell the truth the only time im not in pain is when I stumbling around in the garage working on the cars! Which is fine with me.

Sorry for the belly aching whine.

You are bloody busy also!

Let us know how that trim install goes for sure!

Cheers
Paul

Yeah, I'd say so man!

Where is the MGA at? I might need one once Tom comes down to pick up the MGA and Volvo.
