One of them has a threaded read mounting fitting for the Rez. The other is a push in type with a groove for an "O" ring. Also have different numbers. Can anyone tell me what the different applications are?
I thought they were both NOS the one with the threaded rear fitting is not.
Thanks
Paul

Paul:
What you have there are the two versions of the US-spec dual master cylinder.
The top one is the early type that is threaded at the rear for an inlet pipe from the remote reservoir. I think it is threaded 3/8" x 24 like the brake lines and bleeder screws.
The lower one is the later one for the integral reservoir which snaps in with a spring snap ring and is sealed with a rubber ring.
They are otherwise identical and there is an adaptor cover for the early type to take the reservoir inlet where the later type mounts the reservoir directly.
C Ya,
Mark
