Crikey, that's not a bad price.

Never dealt with the seller but feedback looks good.

Sounds like a good deal to me Les, and a quick fix for what ails you in any event.

The engine looks nasty, but what do you want for a hundred pounds? LOL

Good feed back over a long period of time.

My vote is for you to hop in a truck and go get the thing today. When you get it home you can do a few tidy-up efforts and stick it in your car.

What about Chris Betson? www.octarine-services.co.uk Other side of the island from Wirral, but he has a good reputation and his prices are tough to beat.

Could be assuming that being a late engine, it is set up for unleaded. Not the case in my experiance bit there does seem to be some misinformation on the subject. Doesn't really state hard seat inserts just unleaded. Reportedly some but not all of the late heads had the seat area induction hardened. Again, the ones I have taken apart didn't appear to have this done as center exh are usually receded after a lot of miles.

The fact that installation is offered would be encouraging to me. If it were a bad engine, I doubt the seller would want anything to do with being responsible for getting it running. The price certainly seems reasonable.

so I'm going to drive out there next week and see what other goodies he has.
