I just checked the fifty five hundred posts that I have made in the last two hours and none of them have made a difference in my post count.
Now how in the world does Skye expect me to win my pink Cadillac with him cheating on me like that. LOL

Your current post count will show up on all posts you have ever made, past and present. Next time you post, the count should go up one, and that new number will show on all posts.
Nope John I'll fess up and say DUH. Steve, are you saying that if I write a post and the tote board says 1234 when I post it, and then write another post the new post will show 1235 and if I go back to the original post it will have been upgraded to 1235 also? That makes sense to me, but I think, or at least I am under the delusion, that the numbers are not increasing on any of the posts. I am going to do this one and check again. Jack
Okay, I'm an idiot.
It is working now and probably was all along. Reasoning is the second thing to go, or so I am told. LOL
Jack
Yes, that's the way it works on this forum. However not all forums work this way. The "old" way of doing it was to embed the post number within the post information itself. The "new" way of displaying post counts is to embed it with the user name, so the current total post count for a user always displays with their name.
