MGB: Question on Removing Carpet

I would like to Dynamat my MGB. My question is, if I remove the carpet, would I be able to reapply the same carpet over the Dynamat or should I just buy a new carpet kit?

If your carpet is in good shape, reuse it. You can attach just like you would to the bare floors.

As said above, yes you can. Just take up the existing carpet and panels carefully. Sometimes the adhesive bonds so well that it can tear the carpet. Just go easy and you should have no problem.

If stuck down tightly in spots, a large bladed putty knife slightly sharpened is handy.
