MGB: RAIN

.......I see you people in the SE are getting some rain, good for you, we need some also, it rained today nickel size drops for about 5 minutes then quit. Every thing is parched.

we planted some white pine seedlings and I am afraid they might not make it. This is an extremely dry August, it keep threatening rain, but nada.........This is Michigan, where the hell is our rain? Bush's fault?

We got some good rain (about 5.5" at my house over 3 days) out of Fay. Hannah is supposed to be a nonevent for my part of the state. Hope Ike will bring some our way. We need about four more "Fays" to alleviate our drought...

We got about 2 inches of rain last night, it's supposed to rain all day, some placed here are forecast to get 5-7 inches.

No rain here, either, but hopefully Hanna will change that this weekend as it works its way up the coast.

Wyatt...I'm just used to looking at my lawn which is green because of watering. But last week I stopped by Evergreen Cemetery on Mt. Hope to say hello to the family and was shocked to see that the whole place was parched tan grass. How time flys, we really do need rain.

What is rain? I thought for sure we get some from the remnants of Fay, but it skirted us.

Thankfully others that needed it worse down in NC got some good from it. Hopin' Hanna
gives us some relief, but Ike better stay away.

Somebody pointed out how it is behaving and tracking just like Isabelle did back in 03, and that was a whopper of a mess around here.

Wife said she was expecting 6 inches tonight, told her I had heard there was no rain in the forecast.
