In regards to my previous post concerning the gap at the top of my "C" hood. As I said before the original hood had flown up an was damaged . I replaced the one hinge and ground out the drivers side hinge slots to get more adjustment because I do not want to remove the dash to replace this hinge. The used replacement hood that I got measures 1/8" less that the original hood in length but when put on the "C" there was about 3/4" of gap at the top.After a lot of though I went to the shop this morning with a plan. Adjust the latch up as high as it will go, the hood fits almost perfect, end of story. The latch was pulling the hood forward, also the hood now closes and opens smoother.
Thanks again for all the help with pictures and suggestions. We will talk again with my next problem

Thats good that you got it figured out. Never would have thought of the hood latch pulling it ahead. Congrats..
