Is it possible to fit a rear sway bar to a 69 MGB?

Is the handling improved?

What is the most significant uggested improvement to make to improve stock 69 MGB handling?

Thanks - Hope you all have a great (and safe) holiday season. (I hope to get a few hours in the garage)

Don't add a rear sway bar by its self.this will increase the oversteer (make the cars rear end want to come around in a turn). the bad thing about over steer is if you panic in a turn and you go for the brakes you can expect to go for an off road excursion. I suggest I a handling package front and rear bars or just adding a 3/4" front bar.

FIRST - go through your suspension and replace ALL the bushings, and rubber bits, tie rod ends, make sure the king pins are OK, rear spring mounts/bushs, etc.
After all the suspension is up to snuff, including the dampners, then you can go to a 3/4" front sway bar. In most cases the rear sway bar should only be added if the front end is stiffened up considerably, or significant over-steer can result ( a GT can handle it a little better because of the extra weight...).
Then you'll get into tweeking tire pressures for balance, stiffening up the dampner rates, and all the fun stuff to get it to do what you want, then you'll realize that what works on one surface is garbage on another, on so on ...... ( and do I need anti-tramp bars, and will a panard rod do me any good, and...).
In general a well maintained stock suspension with a 3/4 bar in the front, and maybe solid bushings is all most people will want for street use and occasional sporty driving..
