There's a clip on the back of it. If you've got that off it's just rust and crud holding it on.
I dont have a clip. It looks like some sort of screw. Please attachment.
thanks brad
That is actually the brake adjuster. I'm used to seeing it at the top of the brake back plate (on my 1970 anyway). Unbolt both bolts on each side of the square adjuster on the back and it will simply fall off!

That's a picture of the adjuster. Two 7/16 nuts on the back side. Soak them with blaster or some penatrant. They like to snap off and then you need a new one.
Looks like some sort of pipe plug retro fit. A little pb blaster and that ought to come out, Can't tell what the other one is, not clean enough. Bleeder perhaps? Hope this helps. Mike :)
Yup, the adjuster. You will need that to operate.
OK, in future remind me to look at the photo! The thread title is cylinder - the object in question is obviously the adjuster! :spinning:
sorry about the nomenclature. I got it out.
thanks
Clean it up and throw it in a ziplock. Those little sliding pins like to drop out while you carry it around.
No Men Clature? is that some sort of womens club?
