Cant seem to find any pictures, and have no other car to look at. Does the rubber on the front slope of the sidecurtain mate with the flat part on the slope of the windscreen stantion, or does the aluminum on the slope of the front of the sidecurtain mate with the flat part on the slope of the stantion?

Gary,

When i get home i will install the windows and take some photo.......please dont ask to see the windows with the roof up as it takes to long.

I should have done it by the time you wake up.

Gary,

I did have a look in "The Original MGA" which did have some shots, but you really need the junction of the windscreen to the side screen. My windows are 1600 with sliding perspex.

Mine are aluminum with the big rubber strip on the bottom. Barneys site says to cut the rubber on the bottom so it barely clears the paint on the door so the vibration of the rubber does not chaff the paint. Im scared to death to start cutting mine, but will just have to work up to it I guess.

Gary,

Mine do not have a rubber seal along the bottom edge. I wouldnt cut the rubber off just yet. You dont have to use the windows straight away, I've only put mine twice and once was to take those photos. Just keep it all together until you can get to a car show to have a look at others.

Here is the bottom edge of our windows.

Peter,

I'm not sure. I think my dad picked them up in England 10+ years ago.
Are these different to the currently available versions.

David,

Yours appear to be what is available today. Are you happy with the fit? I have been trying to find anyone who makes them as original. It looks like all of the repros have both front and back pieces of plexiglass that open while the originals only the back half opened.

Peter,

I,m very happy with the fit absolutly no problems.
The back window only slides the front are fixed.
Dont really get much use out of them but keep them in the boot just in case.
