Friday weâre heading north (form FL) on a road trip in the 74 B/GT. I put more than 40,000 miles on the GT in the last 2 years! Weâll be at my sonâs home in Danville VA on Sunday (27th) and at my daughterâs home in Lexington KY May 1 & 2. But for the first part of the week weâll just be driving in the mountains of NC and TN...no place in particular, although I do plan on taking in the Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap.
Iâm also looking for British cars to be photographed for the next calendar. I need a nice Magnette and other interesting MGâs and TRâs. If your car or some one you know has a British car worthy or notable, let me know and Iâll try to work some photography into this trip.

Bob...we'll see you in Townsend weekedn of May 3rd? maybe you'll like my '79 Vermillion Red with its Windbreaker in place!
I wish I could Tony, but I need to be back in FL on the 3rd.
Hey Bob. You should make the drive from Danville, to Abingdon, as Al Bradley suggested in a previous post. Old route 58 is an extraordinary MGB road, and not really out of your way. I'm about an hour drive west of Abingdon, and 2.5 hours from Lexington, Ky. We could all get together for a nice feed in one of Abingdon's terrific restaurants. I'll be glad to pick up the tab. My 71 gt looks really good from twenty feet! My 79 roadster looks really nice from 30 feet.
Sounds good to me, Sam! Just tell me when, Bob. AL Bradley
Walter Mitty Challenge is at Road Atlanta that weekend. Lots of cool stuff to see and photo.

I have a Red 77 B with painted bumpers in Atlanta.
Se, I think you could get ALL your photos in Townsend...2 big shows in parking lots next to one another....the Townsend British Car Show & the North America MG V8 meet!
Just got a call from Bob in Danville,Va. He sure loves those MGB GT road trips. Hope to get together in the next couple days, somewhere between here and there.
