does the anti run on valve in later cars actually work? i've never had one that was hooked up.

The one on my 77 works, not that it seems to do any good. I do the brake/clutch thing as a habit now.

is this part a zs thing? as i dont have anything thing hooked up since i did the dual su conversion and have no problems with run on at all.

Mine works.

One a related note: depending upon the year of your car, you might have a sneak current from the alternator warning lamp circuit keeping the ignition energized.
