I have a 70 and a 67 MGB-GT with rust in all the typical spots. I would like to know which brand of rust proofing primer to use after I have replaced all the the rusted components and finished my welding?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

SEM products are recommended to me by the best shops here in hotrod city. I don't know why.

I use Dupont Vera prime. It has a rust inhibator in it. It is also called yellow death because it is toxic. Use a real good resporator and spray out side. I have used it on battery boxes for 10 years and never had the rust come back. If I take a car to the metal I also use metal prep before spraying the vera prime then the fill primer over that.

VeriPrime by DuPont is good stuff. I've sprayed a total of a couple of gallons of it without so much as a dust mask. BUT, I always spray outside and if I'm downwind of the spray I hold my breath while shooting, step out and grab some air after a few strokes. Since I got my Kraut Can I've found that Porsche guys are real big on POR 15 especially on unibody frame and floor areas. They claim that it posiviely stops surface rust.

I mentioned LPS-3 for blowing inside the sills etc., but still haven't found a source other than aircraft outfits. I've never seen any Waxoil, but from what I've read it must be very much like LPS-3. I think that if you thinned it with mineral spirits and used a slovent blow gun you could get it all over the insides of the sills. You want it thin so it can get in crannies by capillary action and can't clog drain holes. Access can be gained through the holes in the bottom of the inside sill since the center section appears to be an open girder type construction, (correct me if I'm wrong). It makes a HELL of a mess, believe me, I've done it, but in a slightly different manner.

Moss advertised Waxoil, but like you John, I've never seen it.
