Mike,
Thanks, but I honestly seemed out classed next to you. Mike failed to mention that he and I tied in the MGB chrome bumper class and the tiebreaker was who registered first for the show! Mike took home the same first in class trophy last year!
Tonight I finally got around to processing my photos and putting them in a slide show on my web site. I provided the link below. Mike has this stunning fully restored metallic silver B. You can see it in shot #1 near the left center with the hood up. That's my Sapphire on the far side of him. You can see Mike and his wife speaking with another participant in shot #11.
The best shots of my car are the reflections of it in the highly polished finish on Mike's car in shots #18 and #19. Speaking of reflections, you will notice I got a bit carried away at the show taking reflection photos with the amazing blue sky and puffy white clouds only hours after a rare cool front passed through.
If you are anywhere near San Diego on the weekend of this annual show you should make sure to take it in. I was just starting to hunt for my LBC four years ago and learned a tremendous amount of valuable information by attending this show. I've been a participant the past three years since, and I do not live in the San Diego area. The show is organized and produced by a conclave of British car clubs in the San Diego area. They do an amazing job of working together! The Austin Healey Sprite was the featured marque this year.

Very nice photos, the reflection ones are cool, I like the photo and car in No. 8. Thank you Frank.
Looks like the Admiral Baker area. Yes?
Nice cars!
(And a couple of nice golf courses nearby, as well)
What's up with the Honda?

Yes, a BMC engine in an older Honda CRX. Amazing! The owner rides a small 1984 Honda CT110 dual-purpose motorcycle 20 some odd miles each way to work daily. The CRX was parked just three or four cars up from a modern mini that has a turbo'd (aftermarket) Honda VTech engine from I believe a Honda Civic Si. So what goes around comes around, huh? I think I have photos of it also, but from last year's show.
The blue car in #8 is my "Sapphire". Never noticed it before Sunday, but the Sapphire Blue paint is a perfrect canvas for the reflected clouds. Guess most days out here are either 100% sunny or 100% cloudy so I never noticed it before, but Sunday was a perfect mix of sun and those puffy clouds.....
Car shows are perfect places to find reflective photos. The site below has a couple of hubcap reflection shots.
