I need to replace my original seatbelts because the rest of the car is restored and they look ugly. I don't necessarily want retractable. I would prefer something like the originals, but can't seem to find any source to buy them. Are there any seatbelts out there that don't require replacement of the original hardware attached to the car -- don't want to weld or drill screws if I can help it. Any advice appreciated.

Moss have them, both 3 point and lap belts. See Chris Roop on this board, he sells for Moss at wholesale.

Someone mentioned in the last day or two that you can take them somewhere and have the original buckles rewebbed, but I forget where they said to go.

That would be the Snake Oyl people.

I replaced my retractible belts with lap/shoulder non-retractible from Moss. As I remember from my old 67 B they are very similar. I LIKE them, and once you figure how to lay them next to the seat so they are ready for the next drive, all is good. Oh, by the way, the reason I dont have retractible anymore is that I took one apart to fix it, and the spring went "TWAAANG" and flew across the shop..........

Frank, did your non-retractables bolt up to the existing holes your original seat belts used?

I may go this route rather than pay $100 per for new retractables.
