Moss sells fitted cloth seat covers that I am interested in. The write up says they are beige and match the 77-80 color well.
I cant find a beige in any 77-80 pictures or descriptions. Any one have these fitted seat covers and/or any pictures of a beige interior?
Thanks
Paul

For '74 there was Black and Autumn Leaf. Here is Autumn Leaf. IMHO the Moss custom cut cloth covers seem a bit expensive ($220!!) vs the standard sorts of covers you can buy locally. If you want cloth seats, the cloth GT seats are offered in Black and Autumn Leaf for about $430. You can order a free material sample card from Moss if you want to check the color. The cloth GT seats were also offered in slightly different striped colors in the UK that are also availible.

Hi Ryan
I am not looking at the vinyl covers (429.00). The foam and all are in good shape so I am looking for a better 'fitted' slip cover than what is around here. The panels are shot. I have found a very nice source for heavy vinyl I would like to use on panels I cut myself but want to match as closely as possible the moss slip covers which are described as Beige.
Thanks
Paul

Get the sample from Moss, and then go to a local automotive material supplier to match the vinyl to the sample.

Are you thinking of the "Seat Saver" covers that Moss and Vicky Brit sell, or replacement seats. The Seat Savers are great. I have them on my 74.5 roadster with Autumn Leaf interiior and they look fine. I'm at work now and don't have a pic, but can post later if you want one.

I had the Moss seat cover savers, and they are decent. I just recently had custom cloth seat covers made up for my 1978 MGB. I have all new vinyle upholstery. but my wife prefers cloth and they are miles ahead of the Moss. Absolutley custom fit, right down to the cutouts for the seat adjusters. They are custom made in the USA, and they come in a choice of colors and materials automotive grade, and the best news is they are only $148.
Seat Covers Unlimited 480-832-5050 Mesa Arizona and they have a web site on the net. See my pic. The material I used is Scottsdale like the PU.

Yes Seat Covers Unlimited are great. I had them provide seat covers for my 74 Midget and they did a great job. The advantage I had living in AZ is that I dropped off the seats and they installed the covers. Look fantastic and no sweaty butt! They will do my 77 MGB soon.

These guys are great. I had them do sheep skins, and the fit was not satisfactory. They gave me a full credit and made up costom cloth ones and did not even charge me shipping. I am glad that somebody brought up this subject because they are a super resource for our hobby. If one is workijng on a budget, just forget about the original vinyle, and get their cloth.

Robert, My 74 has the autumn leaf interior now also. If your covers are the beige, then yes, I would appreciate a picture.
David, those covers look great. I will check out their web site

Thanks guys
Paul

I like those covers! Vinyl in the summertime here is brutal. I may see if they'll send me a sample of the brown material...that looks like it might be the best choice to go in an Autumn Leaf interior...
