I have heard mixed reviews about this seller..Stamps out a lot of parts though...maybe someone else who has bought something from him could tell you more? Things aren't always like the photo depicts.

Don't do it!!!! OK, to be fair, I have only used his radiator duct panel. Without exaggeration, if I had a bead roller at home, I could have made one more easily from flat steel versus the time I had in making his useable. All three grill mount holes had to be filled in and then redrilled, and the piece was not remotely symmetrical down a left/right centerline. I had to cut off the turned down edge that meets the inner wheelhouse and move it in to make it work. On eBay right now, there are some rockers for $160 plus shipping, iirc. Red oxide primer- those are well made and fit.
Forgot to mention, on the duct panel from the guy you posted a link to- the bead rolled "X" was off center, curved instead of straight, too skinny, and one side was longer than the other. And, his shipping is higher than most, accompanied by a sob story about sourcing panels from Mexico.
I would advise anyone to deal with real dealers. Not saying bargains can't be found on efee but supporting those who support the hobby and offer years of reputable parts and service is just common sense.
Gabe, what kinda critter is that? Sure has a long tail!::o
Again all responses appreciated.
Turns out I'd rather spend more.
Went with the red oxide primered ones.
Thanks all.
Yeah, that's Jorge, more popularly know as Jaguar by Jorge. Very mixed reviews on his stuff, but one thing stands out is that if you question his quality he will go off on you. Customer service doesn't appear to be his strong point.
Sports and Classics (another eBay seller) is recommended by Barney Gaylord for rocker covers, I bought a pair of his and they were spot on. I was also quite satisfied with the inner and outer sills I got from Moss even though Moss's dogleg patches required a lot of finessing to get to fit properly.
I suppose that these are then out of the question?

Actually, many if not most BMC products in the day required finesse to fit. It is reliably reported that on the AH line, a panal had one working day to be attempted to fit. If at the end of the day it never made it onto a car, it was boxed and shipped to NJ where it would be dispatched to a BMC dealership in the US to be used as a repair panel.8-)
Stay away from Jorge! Quality of his parts are poor, customer service is even worse, and he overcharges for shipping. Ask me how I know.

Wow, Thomas, never seen em that cheap $ wise. If you look on the ends, you can see they were made in a metal brake. We've got some rockers for a '56 Buick being done at my work that were made that way.

Here's one buyer's review of the seller going by Member id classicparts4u
"I bought there floor pans. They were lets say general shape. Be prepaired to cut, trim and shape.. They have the general shape you need but not exact and hardly close."
And another.
"I wouldn't recommend buying from the guy unless you want to do a whole lot of banging and cutting."
Another review was pretty uncomplementary about the seller's character. He does appear to have good feedback though with only two negative reviews in the last year.

...I would suggest you avoid them....I bet there is a high spot dead center that you can't hide without beating the *&% out of them to the inside...
There are 3 Ebay sellers that come up when searching "MGA rocker panel" Jorge $109.95pr, Sports and Classics (red ones) $159.96pr and Classicparts4u $49.99pr. Moss sells these for $53.95each.
Moss is the only ones I have used and did not have too much trouble.
Sports and Classics Good reviews
Jorge Poor reviews
Clasicparts4u Obvious incomplete junk just from the pictures.
I would like to see Moss and S&C side by side.
Scarbourough Faire (? no online catalog) and Victoria British (89.95ea) also sell.
As much as I hate to spend money. I bought bought a set from moss and had them ship them to Eclectic Motorworks in Mich. There they reworked them and sent them to me. Even though it cost me almost double with the work they did. I think I spent the money wisely. They did a nice job.
As for the sills from Moss I think they could have done a better job with the end caps. They had too much gap to suit me. If I had have a long enough break I think I would have made my own. I did make my own inner sills and found out why the 1 inch holes are tapered at the edges.

Just my two cents. Over the years, I have bought rockers from Jorge, Moss, and Scarborough Faire. The ones from Jorge were very well made and fit ok. Moss rockers seemed a lighter gauge metal and fit ok too. The most recent rockers I bought came from Scarborough. I must emphasize that all three vendors sell rockers that fit OK. OK means that rockers from each of these vendors required some trimming and bending to fit properly. So, if you expect to take them out of the box and install them on your car without doing some trimming, bending and coaxing, you may be expecting too much. A pair on tin snips and your are good to go.
Mike
Gary, you know those little guillotines they use to chop the end off cigars? Your finger is the cigar . . .
I just got handed a sweet pair for free from Jim. He showed me where the previous owner had tried trimming the top edge, that's why they make JB Weld, for just such a repair. He also said that they were a little too long (hence the previous owners trimming) but I figure that they're at the bottom of the car, and anyone on their hands and knees looking at my rockers is just being silly.
They're good to go and real metal, that puts me WAY ahead of the bent wood and fiberglass option.
THANKS Jim ! ! ! ! !
I bought a pair of these Monday before this post came out. Seemed like too good of a price to pass up. "seemed like" is the key phrase here. I figured making the indentation where the rockers fit under the rear fenders would be pretty hard to make so I ordered a set just to see how good or bad they were in that area. Turns out they are hacked off where that indentation "should be". Probably can cut that area off the originals and weld it to these. I'll have way more time in them than if I had just ordered a "good" set but had to see. That bend in the edge is where they made the curve in the panel without using a shrinker on that edge. May not even use them. I could tell the seller was not familiar with the MGA in particular but just a reseller so didn't expect much. He says "...ALWAYS LOOKING TO BUY MEDIUM TO LARGE QUANITIES OF 30'S THRU THE 60'S ERA PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "
On the + side - they were shipped very quickly, packaged great and seem to be made of 18 ga steel as advertised.

Oh - Thomas.....(tu)(tu)(tu)
Adding the pics of the "repair panels" - don't think I would call them replacement panels as they are not complete.

Eric
I bought a stainless grille from him, it looked nice. When I went to mount the motif it wouldn't fit, the holes were not lined up. I called about it, he had me send it back. He fixed the grille and mounted the motif in it and threw in a radiator duct panel, not bad. It's still in the box.
But, I also bought a gas tank from him, the coating on it would wipe off with a rag and one of the little guides that keep the mounting strap from moving was off by about 1/2". I cleaned and repainted the tank and made the guide work.
So, I reckon you takes yer chances.
Eric,
That looks like the one I made in the 70s when Moss backorder mine. I made the step by using pywood pieces to make a buck and then clamped in in a vise and whacked it from both sides with 2 lb hammers.
More like "skinz" but still . . . a nice, clean, cheap, usable beginning for repairing a set of damaged rockers, for sure.
If Jim didn't put his new/old ones in my hands, I'd have jump on those.
