Who is the guy that makes the Sebring flares, MGC hoods, fiberglass bumper replacements and Sebring bumperless fairings? I know I've seen them but can't remember where.

Maybe Tim Nagy, he is a member here. I think the website name is www.morspeedperformance.com , I just bought some bumper brackets off of him this week.
that's him, you can get sebring valences (not sure about the flares) through moss. there's also a thread on the v8/v6 forum of folks who've made their own.
I believe there are three shops in England making Sebring flare sets. Only one of them seems to be readily available stateside: "Honeybourne". You can get them through Brit-Tek or Targett Motorsports too.

If you're interested in fitting these, you may enjoy these articles that show how it's done:

I think I'm going the homemade route for the full 6 piece set. Most of the pricing I've seen is well over a grand for the set. I can screw up a lot before I get anywhere near that, plus I'll have molds. The only drawback is that I don't know anyone locally with a sebring to pull a mold from, so the original plug will take a bit more work.
tom have you started to work on your flares yet i had the same idea to go the homemade route using high density foam to shape the flare on the car than planed on making a mold from that how do you plan on going about yours
