Good deal, hope it goes well.
That first sleep back in your own home after a hospital stay...As sucky as it is to be in a hospital...it sure serves to remind you how wonderful some of those little things are.
Gil...take care...and thanks for keeping us posted! Please deliver my best wishes for recovery to your wife...just say "one of those insane MG guys is thinking about you." :-)

Great news Gil !!
Great news!
...good news Gil, I hope you can relax.
Good to hear Gil, best wishes to your wife on a quick recovery.
I hope you can muster some of the grand kids to help cheer her up.
Best of luck.
Great news Gil. Best wishes to you both.

Hope she's doing better than mine, Gil. Mine came home Monday after an 8-day stay following heart surgery and she is still terribly weak. But she will do better!
Good to hear Gil! Three weeks in a hospital feels more like three months. My Dad was in for several months in 2004/5 for cancer surgery and a stem cell transplant. It does things to your mind after awhile.
Good news. It is a great feeling to be out of the clutches of the hospital.
I might find out today when I'll be expecting to go back in.

Gil and Jack...I want to thank you for trusting the members of this forum with your experiences. I think it is easy at times to isolate ourselves as we go through difficult, painful, and challenging life experiences (at least, that is my tendency)...but opening up to us helps me feel more connected to you guys and your real-life stuff.
Please continue to keep us posted on progress...frustrations...even fears if you feel like it. I think there are a lot of good folks around here who develop genuine connections and care for each other.
Anyway...best to you both, and to your lovely wives!
Tony
