Just wanted to publicly thank Dan. After reading his OD post i was able to get my OD working. I was very close to pulling the transmission with a view to changing the hard to get to switches. I sprayed wd-40 in my stick shifter switch and it appeared to do nothing. A few days went by and while the car was sitting in the garage I worked the switch and heard a different, distinct "click". Took her out and shizzam......it works.....
Two of the biggest issues I have fixed on this 78B were fixed with basic cleaning......Many thanks to all of you who have responded and helped me over the last seven months. I have taken a barn find that wasnt even rolling and put another B on the road.....great bunch of guys (and gals Naomi).... :-)
Shout out to Dan the fit man!

Dan's a perfect example of the diversity that keeps this forum alive and well. Just the right amount of crazy! ...and I mean that in a good way.
