MGB: Some MG Camping Pics

Took the MG upstate camping. Packed to the gills, in every way, including the supplemental trunk rack. The B held up great. GF only complained on the way home that she was baking from being out in the sun for the whole drive home. There’s lots of adventure to be had taking a packed MG into the woods. My newly repaired overdrive unit ran great.

Here’s a few shots. The B all packed up and gassing up, then some shots from camping and packing up and the obligatory Saratoga race track profile.

Man I bet that was an adventure. Were you camping at a Race Track or was it more of a nature thing? At any rate the way you are packed up makes it look like you had a plan for fun and adventure. More Pics?

HAR! Reminds me of the trip my wife & I made around Lake Superior in the 70's in my first car - a 72 Midget. Fort Wayne Indiana to the UP, Sault Ste. Marie and west, back through Minnesota & Wisconsin.
Fished at Lake Nipigon. Those were the days!

looks great man! I hope you were lucky at the track. We had a great time camping down at the Delaware water gap. Then again, I was able to load up the Land Rover with lots of crapola.

I took my GF on a 12 day trip earlier this summer and she did not complain one single time about the sun or anything else. Of course the is a four legged red head.

What am I doing wrong...all I get is a picture at the gas station,and another of the car under a tree !

It would be easier for me to convince my wife to try camping ,taking our GT,if I could show her how much fun the rest of you were having taking your MG's.
