something that I haven't been able to work into another post

Not a complete post here, but still something to reflect on.

The Left is completely happy to take what ever time that is required to complete their plan and the process is now in full motion.

I thought that they had overstepped themselves once or twice during the past year in their eagerness to do what they want done, but in the nick of time they realized their mistake and stepped back from the edge.

My final thought in past months on that was when BHO was put forth as their nominee but I was proven wrong as I had under estimated both their powers of persuasion and how well they had done with their efforts in dumbing down the public through the media and the school systems.

Now all of us, Left and Right, can sit back with an afternoon beer and watch the inevitable progression of events that will lead us into political and social circumstances that would have brought agony, shame and tears to the hearts and minds of our forefathers.

As I said in a post just below, we, all of us, are now officially toast.

I don't usually use this word but I will now. I actually HATE the forces and people who have brought ruin to me, my family and my country. What I have dreaded most will soon come to pass. Now it will be time to put my money where my my mouth has been. Soon will come the time where I have to make a quick decision as to whether I will resist a hob-nailed boot on my doorstep or just turn my back and let them shoot me and drag my grandchildren into oblivion.

Please Dear God, Please have mercy on me, my family and my people.

That dear leftist brethren, is exactly how strongly and fervently I have felt about all of this political discourse. If it brings laughter to you throat I would only ask that you sincerely examine just what kind of laughter you have.

I agree with you - Bush and the other dipshit Republicans have nearly ran our once-proud country into the toilet from which there may be no escape. These same dipshits are still trying to play the game the same way disregarding that they have have already scuttled the ship in blindly following into the abyss perhaps the most inept President in history. I don't listen to Rush or Anne.

I do sit and wring my hands for a few moments every day over the situation as I worry and ask God for the strength to carry on about what is going to happen to my kids and grand child because I have too much time on my hands.

You see, the criminals, private and political on both sides have destroyed the system that I have been working under and believed in for the past forty seven years.

Well, Jack, newsflash: it isn't the fault of the left wing. The right wing has had their hands just as deep (IMHO deeper) than the left. Yes it's a crying shame that this nation, with a balanced budget ten years ago, had to go so deeply in hock due to mismanagement of both government and business since then. I worry too, but you gotta live and think about positive things, Jack. You can't just dwell on this crap you have practically no control over. My take: it's not righties or lefties that caused the trouble, it was fools and thieves in both government and business, both left and right, who felt entitled to take anything.

Didn't know Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Pelosi, Reed and the rest were right wing..... This is their making and they know it.

Crooks and connivers are universal. They do not particularly align themselves politically as Republicrats or Demoplicans, nor as Left or Right. Avarice and Greed know no ethics.

JackMG, if the balanced budget is a big thing with you and how you feel about the importance of it you should do some research on it. When you have finished I don't think you will be so happy.

And conversely if that is important why would not be jumping off the bridge based on what the President and his staff are doing.

True, you can not totally blame the Republicans for the crooks on Wall Street.. it was ultimately them who screwed us all.. but with proper regulations in place, the American public would have been informed long ago of the shady crap that was going on. Instead, we all learned to late to do anything but bend over and take it up the rear!

The true reality is that our government is broken.. Republicans and Democrats alike. Our government has become a hive of greed and power, filled with people who have this "such a disconnect with reality" you were speaking of. All they care about is their money, positions of power and how to hold on to those positions.

The true reality is that even if we had some kind of second American Revolution, overthrew all the crooks running this country to the ground... within 20 years time we would be right back to where we are now. As long as there are lobbyists pumping money into the pockets of government officials, we will never get out of this cycle of greed and power.

...JackMG and I are very angry for very similar reasons, we have both lost a major portion of our life savings. A life savings from work, not investing,and altho it was invested savings, any profit was lost 8 years ago, and the recent crash was real sweat equity money lost. We are both no spring chickens, and to be told to be patient and in 10 yrs it will come back,is of very little comfort. At this age years seem to last only last 9 months............

John, Wall Street did NOT put us in this mess. They were only the tool by which the social engineering leftists were able to defecate the poisoned loans which had been mandated by law, Leftist Law.

The Wall Street guys are criminal in that they didn't fall on their swords rather than handle the BS that The Macs handed them.

Plenty of blame to go around though. The Right didn't make due diligence in over sight. The Left originated the sin. The securities guys KYed everything and passed that out to an overly greedy securities market, a market by the way who is US. Sorry POGO!

What I CAN or could have changed was the situation as we see it now in terms of what are we going to do about it.

My position is that it is utter lunacy to do what is being done as I speak. My position is that the crop of criminals that we have at the moment is going to insure a ruinous end to what was once a bad thing but was recently something that COULD have been rectified.

Do you realize that as I type this there has been no, nada, none, zilch mention in the new administration of rejecting the edicts issued to the Macs that caused this in the first place? Not a single solitary word has been uttered that would indicate the first level of reforming the programs that the Macs operated under.

Frank and Dodd are still walking the streets. They have even been elevated in the socio-political hierarchy. They are now the God given "fixers" of something that they caused in the first place.

Toast, we are toast when the yellow turn coats from Maine and Pennsylvania say "aye".

BTW: As of 2:39PM the market is down well over three hundred points. That says a lot about the trust that investors have in what BHO spewed this morning doesn't it? You can fool some of the people some of the time Barack, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

My advice for investors is to find out who supplies the paper for Passports and stamp ink, 'cause there is going to be a flow of well healed bodies to warmer climes that won't be matched for decades to come.
