No Chuck!! Get your mind out of the gutter!!! :o) Anyway, I forgot about my parts car!! It had a complete running engine in it intil I sold the head to that guy in Ontario (that never even said thanks!!). Anyway today I went 50 miles, pulled the engine and brought her home. What a surprise!!!! It is a virgin engine!!!! The crank is std and std and the pistons are standard!!! There was no gasket sealer anywhere that mattered!! The bearings and crank look brand new!! In fact, there is no ridge in the cylinders!! All the lock tabs had never been unbent and rebent!! How much better could I do than that???? I think that my problems are over!!! WHEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
Sometimes even I get lucky!!!

YAH!!!!!!! Isn't the chance of that about as good as finding a virgin in Las Vegas???
Don't know, I never found one anywwhere. Just lucky I guess.
Well, Gary, aside from the fact that we really should worry about you for forgetting all this time that you have a parts car with an engine . . . Sounds like you should be able to "plug and play"!
I never really forgot, I just thought that the motor was junk!!! I thought that the spare block that I had was better!!
It is back in the shop as we speak!! Actually, we are going to port and polish it!! I have to get in and get Geoffs idea on why the valves stems are toooooo short!!
Glad you have a back up. I would suspect the seats aren't deep enough. The valves face should be pretty close to flush with the combustion camber.
