now if it only had A/C that would be the ultimate daily driver. it's on ebay right now, but can't remember what the bidding is. i think it's $8600 right now, pretty good price for that work.

They did a real time job. Having worked on several Rover V-8's in amazes me every time I see one of those bullys in a B! I can't wait to see one at a show to really get a feel for how they stuffed it in there.

David's engine is in the setback position so an Ac could easily be installed....I know that car well...if it goes less than $10,000 its a steal!....David's fastidious in everything he does & only uses new/best parts/pieces....
....my V8 engine was also built by Glenn Towry...
....oh, those Fiero seats? I built them for David!

John......"...for how they stuffed it in there"...there's no 'stuffing'...it just slides right in....I've had mine in and out at least a dozen times testing various things & I always put it in all by myself! Its actually easier than a regular 4-cylinder if you modify your slam panel like I did....

Pretty slick, Tony. Does your slam panel just bolt in now?

Hi all, I've seen this car and can tell Tony is correct, David does things right!!! I also fell in love with the seats Tony did, very confortable, with great side support.

john....yes it bolts in at top corners as seen in photo above & along bottom support as in photo below

Tony, that's pretty slick!

The slam panel modification isn't my idea, guys....I've gotta give Mike Cook credit for pointing it out to me....but, it is pretty slick! I think its even a good idea for 4-cylinder cars as you don't have to raise the engine so high or point its nose into the sky!

My slam panel is bent to hell, Maybe I will do the same when I replace it.

I don't know, my four comes out with the hood on!!! The only thing to remember is not to put the damper pulley on before you install!!

Gary....your 4 goes in & out, in & out so many times its not worth taking the hood off.....just kidding....you're correct, the 4 can be taken out without removing the hood if you remove one end of the hood stay & lift the hood back towards the windshield

ok, why not put the damper pulley on before? i guess i don't understand

Didn't even have to do that Tony!! It just pops out, no problem!!! As far as the damper, it hits the rack before it can drop down with the pulley on!! I am sure that if I leave the pulley off this time, it will be waaaaaay easier!! I will give it a try anyway!!
