Lunch break...
Just got an email from a friend asking if I had ever worked on one of these. He was joking of course.
I have seen pictures of this car before. I haven't verified anything but the word is that it isn't polished stainless or chrome. It is supposed to be white gold.
It's a Mercedes Benz owned by an Abu Dhabi oil billionaire (naturally).
Featuring the newly developed V10 quad turbo with 1,600 horsepower and 2800nm of torque 0-100km/h in less than 2secs, 1/4 mile in 6.89 secs running on bio-fuel.
How would you like to be the guy's detailer? One missed speck of sand and off with your hands! LOL
Makes you wanna just keep on shoveling money at those folks doesn't it?
I'll post two more entries so you can see the other pictures.

What color was it before Sheik Yerbouti drove it across the desert?
That's a chrome SL600 built by Renntech Tuning of Florida. It was supposedly purchased by Doug Mansfield, a property developer from Sarasota, Florida. The chrome alone was $200,000. Renntech built it to show what they were capable of, it's also stunningly fast.

Hmmm.. so how come it has Arabic numbers on the rear number plates next to 3049 ??"
Because there could be more than one. This one is in the UAE.
And here is a small fact, Arabic writing charaters go from right to left, but the numerals go from left to right. Just something to know if you ever need it.

Did you notice the silver and gold cars were both photgraphed in the same shopping centre entry, the yellow gold link above.
Arabic numerals...what the civilized world adopted many years ago as opposed the Roman numerals......
Both read left to right except the Arabic doesn't involve arithmetic to discern the number at hand.
Many hold that modern civilization had its roots in the valley of the Tigris and Euphrates where evidence has been found they invented the first battery...
