Picked up a "proper" speedometer for my 77 B, which looks to have little wear. Problem is, it reads about 15mph high. Can these be calibrated...but an amateur? Or is there another issue I'm overlooking....as usual?

On the face it should say something like 1244 tpm or 100tpm (turn per mile) you probably have the wrong set up or if the odometer is correct, then it just may be tired!! They have somekind of a magnetic field that sets what the needle reads!! Nissonger can fix either problem!!

If it was just tired or damaged it would read low instead of high. Bet it's the wrong speedo, perhaps from a Midget or Spitfire that used a different tranny

The speedo in my 76B says 1000 along the bottom, just to the right of the buttom. This is the TPM number. What does your's say, Dan?

I bet it's them there magnetrons jumpin' off that there magnet in there too quick. Just don't smile while it's doin' that or your teeth will fall out.

Looks like 7393/100. Maybe the wrong animal!

I think that is the wrong number. Look to the right. Anyway, weren't o/d and non- o/d speedos all 1000 tpm for the late cars?
