Does anyone know a good source for stainless exhausts for a 1500 Midget? My mild steel example gave up the ghost on the commute home today, and I guess now is as good a time as any to put stainless in. I'm not especially thrilled with the Falcon exhaust pictured in Moss. (VB has a better price if i go that route) I like the look of the Bell SS exhaust, but I can't seem to find a source in the US except Sport and Classic car company at this website http://www.britishcarpartsco.com/British%20car%20parts%20for%20sale.htm
I'm not at all familiar with them. Anyone know them? Know somebody else? All advice gladly accepted. (Please excuse any typos--I'm still a little woozy from the fumes!)
Also, if I go w/ the Falcon, what hardware do you suggest I go with--has anyone used those "made in Spain" Moss exhaust clamps, for example?
Many thanks for any and all advice.

Bell is a better SS system than Falcon, in my opinion.
Sports and Classics is a very good vendor.
Hope that helps.

It does help. I have nothing against Sports and Classic, just didn't know 'em. Thank you!
Update: Sports and classic is out of stock and doesn't expect any for a month. Anyone know these guys?: http://www.vintageimportsinc.com/index.htm
Bell would be Bell no matter who you ordered from. If in stock, ask when they can ship. Is their price competitive? Go for it!
I hate to be argumentative Robert, but I got burned pretty darned bad by British Miles in Morrisvile PA (read:ripped off) so I'm just a little leery of ordering from a place I've found solely through Google. Still, you're point is well-taken; if they've got it why not go for it.
No problem Thomas, I understand. You do want good customer service as well as a good product. Maybe your local shop can order you one and pick it up there?
Rob
Second update: Called the number at Vintage imports; forwarded to a voice mailbox w/ the message that the mailbox was full. Not a sign that exactly inspires confidence. That and the fact that they're price is like 175 less than Sports and Classics; I think folks should steer clear until proven otherwise.
