Hi All,
I am having a problem with the 73 GT. Last night she started just fine, but the red ignition light on the dash just dimmed never going off. I took the car around the block but it did not go off. Once back in the garage and shutting her off she would not start for quite awhile, just the clicking sound when the key was turned. After 10 minutes she started again, but then same problem. Do you guys think it is the starter motor, solenoid, battery? As you can tell I am a driver and lover of MG's having two, but unfortunately not a mechanic. I am concerned about driving her to my mechanic without getting stranded. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe
