Anyone convert a fold down top to stow away. Thinking about doing this but it would mean wasting a newer top... At least that's what I know, can't use a fold down top with a stow away frame???

I have both. Simple hardware change and 3 screws on each side. I use the stowaway because I choose to keep the rollbar. Fold down with zip out doesn't have enough clearance.

Stow away top gives your more room for storage. I have had both and I prefer the stow away. I think your top will last longer without the folding with frame. It makes your car look cleaner. You can always sell your other top on this site.

Either way, keep the zip-out rear window, its great in superhot weather.

The frame for the stow away is taller giving you more head room. I have a zip out in both of my tops for the 67.

I am thinking about getting a stowaway top for my B, any idea of how easy they are to find and approx price?

Thanks,

Brad
