It's weird, but since we got back from MG2003 in St. Louis, I've seen TWO MGBs in town.
Keep in mind that I NEVER, EVER see any other Bs on the road here. The first time I saw one since we've been back, Chas. and I were sitting in a restaurant having lunch and looking out on a small side street when a red rubber-bumper B went by. Since we'd both spent a week and a half seeing almost nothing but MGBs, at first it didn't register as anything unusual. Then it was "Hey! There goes an MG!"
Then tonight, on the way home from the movies, we passed a yellow MGB on the road, not a mile from our house.
Really strange. I wonder where they are coming from? (Of course, neither time was I driving the MG, so I couldn't wave "hi" or exchange information.
Strange, but true . . .

Well, yeah, except it was dark tonight and the people in the B couldn't see me...
I just got home from the Great Race festivities, and saw two Bs I've never seen before on the way home - and they weren't at the show! One was Limeflower (remember that color!), and the other was Old English white (I think, it was getting dark). I can usually go for months without seeing another B unless it's at a club event...
If you had flipped them the bird they would have seen that and remembered you when you were in your B and they were driving an old beat up dump truck.
Joe....Great Race is scheduled to be in Fayetteville at 1.50..but, we're gonna get there at 1...however, rain started this morning around 5:30 so there'll be no top down driving...thanks, Gerry!
I think the weather is bringing them out.
This last weekend was a long weekend in Burlington VT. Must have seen 10 different B's during the weekend in various places from Lake George, NY all the way up to Burlington, VT.
BTW... there are some great roadster roads along Lake George and Lake Champlain.
