i have an appt to take the B into the repair shop tomorrow. i've decided to have classic restorations in lucas, tx, do the repair work...his reputation precedes him -- thanks ken! -- i have had a reservation for a trailer at u-haul for 4 days and they still have not "found one". the local shops all want $100 for a trailer.

if i am leaking from the pinion seal on the diff when driving...i went 30 miles on first run with about 5 oz gone. can i go the 50 to the repair shop? maybe stop half way and fill it up? i have no clue how much that pumpkin holds. i HATE to do it, but $100 plus tax for a trailer is a bitter pill. i'll do the trailer if thats what everyone recommends.

told you. stupid question.

You should be ok to drive it there. I don't think you need to worry about refilling it. Just top it up before you leave.

Phil,
I'll second Ken's recommendation. George is a great guy!

He did a great job on rebuilding my O/D and transmission (now if I can only find a good main shaft it'll be complete!)

If you run into any problems, my cell is 214-755-7126. I'm in Garland and not far away from George (in about 2 months our new house will be just around the corner from George. The "boss" (wife) said I better not spend all my time there!)

Steve,
If you do your wife should be thankful. There are plenty of worse places to spend all your time .....................
