It's been a long time. Put the first one together. The needle located, the piston drops with the proper sound; until I hooked up the choke arm to the bottom of the jet. Now it sticks. If I pull the jet down a 1/4", all is fine again. When I mount these and adjust the linkage, will all continue to be fine, or do I need another jet?
Nah, you just moved the jet slightly when you attached the choke arm. Probably didn't have the jet centering nut tight enough .
Well, it seemed pretty tight, but then, the brass should wear before the iron and the brass wasn't showing any. I'll check again.
I forgot to mention that if I disconnect the choke lever, all works well again also, hence the concern.
