Nice. Love stories always make me cry... :D

Quick question: Where'd you get the reduction gear starter?

I got it on ebay I can't remember from where. It went in easy, it weights much less than the original.

Very pretty.

Glad to see two of the same mods as my early car. A gear reduction starter and screw on oil filter.

I like the Mobile 1 (209) filter better. The K&N does funny things at highway temperatures.

Lookin' really good!

What did you use on the brass freeze plugs? Looks like maybe JB Weld from here. When I installed my brass ones I used gasket sealer, just like I've used on many, many steel plugs in the past, and never had any problems...until now! A couple of the plugs are weeping a little coolant, in spite of being super careful.

Looks good, Terry.

I just finished off taking my '71 completely apart to send the tub to the body shop.

I anticipate putting the vehicle back together in the spring.

Can you keep notes on the most effective order for reinstalling the components?

Thanks.

Terry, I've been watching your progress and you are doing a great job. You're probably starting to get a little anxious to finish and get on the road, just keep telling yourself....patience, patience. Looks great and looking forward to seeing the finished project.

I don't know because I farmed all the engine work out. I had it rebuilt and then I put it in.

I will. I already have learned thru trial and error what to put on first and want not too!

Ya I desperately want to drive it. I think I should have it on the road by Christmas.
