I was afraid that this might get overlooked in the Trader Section so...
I have a very good T5 sitting on the shop floor that I want to either trade or sell.
It is, as I recall sitting here at the house, a 1352-197 out of a 2.8 Camaro. It is clean as a whistle and I was told that the car had low miles, around 70,000.
I really need a T5 out of V8 (too many tag numbers to list here) to get the first gear ratio that I want.
Might be able to do a little trading for other stuff instead. I have decided to go with a carburetion system instead of injection, if you have anything in that department, or some headers, or what do you have?
Let me know if you think that we can do a little business.
Jack

Looks like Brian has convinced me to keep this one sooooo, "Never mind". ;)

So Jack....what are you going to do? Go with a different ring and pinion? If so what gear ration? I also have a V6 T5 so I'm all ears!
Not all 2.8 V6 T5's are 4.03 first gear. What tag number?:D
Dave, the tag number is 1352-197
Chris, if I ever get my stuff together it will be a carbed 3.4 in front of the above mentioned T5 backed up by a 3.3 MGC axle.
It won't be a dead on perfect combination, but as they say in southern racin' circles "Sometimes ys just gotta run what cha brung".;)
Jack
That's Jack's tag. Mine is either a -061 or -062 (I'm not at home right now so can't check!).
Cheers,
Chris
