I have these 2 Talbot Mirrors from my 66BGT project. I am goig to get them re-chromed. Question is...notice the mirror base, they are 2 different thicknesses. The thicker base is for RF wing and thinner is from LF wing. My thought was that the RF wing mirror needed to be a bit higher so you could acutally see it from the driver seat. But...that is just my rationalization. Anyone got any input? Are they actually 2 different mirrors?

Pure guess: different generations of the same mirror. Who knows why.....

Yeah ... the name is there....they are both Talbot mirrors...but I am unsure if they are the same "model" or if there are supposed to have 2 different types of base. Looking for input... so fire away!
